Pakistan airstrikes on the 1000-bed drug rehab hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan, targeting civilians. Pakistan rejected the claim. 400+ civilians, including patients, were killed, and 250+ patients were injured. Haseebullah Ahmadi, head of the office of the Deputy Ministry for Counter-Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Afghanistan, said that rescued patients are transferred to a safe location.

The explosion happened at 9:00 pm local time on Monday. Taliban government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said, “We strongly condemn this crime and consider such an act to be against all accepted principles and a crime against humanity.”

“The Pakistani military regime carried out an airstrike at approximately 9:00 PM this evening on the Omid Addiction Treatment Hospital, a 2,000-bed facility dedicated to the treatment of drug addiction. As a result of the attack, large sections of the hospital have been destroyed, and there are serious concerns about a high number of casualties,” the spokesman said on X.

According to Pakistan’s information ministry, officials rejected the Afghan allegations of air strikes on a drug rehab hospital in Kabul, calling the claim “false and misleading
